2018 Summer Reading Program!!


The theme this year is “Libraries Rock!” We have a variety of programs planned for June which will focus on Music. They will be fun and educational!

List of Programs:

  • Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at 2 pm will be a Magic Show featuring Jim Green, the Magician.
  • Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 at 10 am will be a presentation about Native Music featuring The Kauahquo Family.
  • Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 at 10 am the Oklahoma City Zoo will be here to present a program called “Roarchestra.”
  • Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 at 10 am will be Story-time and Craft with Miss Gloria Boelte.

Please note that all children’s programs will be on WEDNESDAY. A calendar with the program times and information is available at the library for your convenience.

All programs are for children from 0-12 yrs. A parent must be present for children 6 yrs and under. All children who attend the programs must be registered. Registration forms are available at the front desk. Prizes will be drawn at the end of the program each week.

The Summer Reading Contest will also begin Wednesday, June 6th and continue through July 31st. All children, teens and adults who participate must be registered as well. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners of each category at the conclusion of the Summer Reading Contest.

We will have 6 age categories this year:

Children 0-5, Children 6-9, Children 10-12, Teens 13-17, Young Adults 18-25, and Adults 26+
