It’s that time of year again! The 2023 All Together Now Summer Reading Program will begin on June 7th.

Here is a list of programs:

• Wednesday, June 7th, 2023–MadScience from Edmond at 10:00 am.
• Wednesday, June 14th, 2023–Great Plains Youth & Family Group Connection + Parents as Teachers at 10:00 am.
• Wednesday, June 21st, 2023–Travis Tacker, OSU Extension Coordinator at 10:00 am.
• Wednesday, June 28th, 2023–Desiree Webber from Mustang, OK will present “Buffalo Tales” at 10:00 am.

Each program will be fun and educational for all ages. Prizes will be drawn at the end of each program. Come and join the fun!

Summer Reading registration forms are now available at the Hobart Public Library. You can call us at 580-726-2535 to register over the phone, or you can send an email to hobartpl@hobart.lib.ok.us. We will need the name, age and phone number for each child who registers. Only 1 registration form per child is needed to participate in all activities.

*NOTE: All library program are for children 0-12 yrs. All children must be registered to attend the programs and participate in the Reading Contest. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

Summer Reading Contest

The Reading Contest will begin on June 1st, 2023. All Children, Teens and Adults who wish to participate in the Reading Contest must be registered. Registration forms are available at the Hobart Public Library. You can call to register at 580-726-2535 or email us at hobartpl@hobart.lib.ok.us. We will need the name, age and phone number for each one who registers.

The purpose of the Summer Reading Contest is to help children and teens to keep up their reading skills throughout summer break. Adults are encouraged to read for fun and entertainment. Reading is fun at all ages!

We encourage everyone to join in on the fun! There will be prizes given at the end of the reading contest for the winners of each group (0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-17, 18-25, & 26+). There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each group.

Summer Reading Craft Days

Crafts days will be in June this year. Please note the dates and times below.

Here is a list of Craft Days in June:

• Friday, June 9th, 2023 for ages 0-3 at 10:00 am.
• Friday, June 16th, 2023 for ages 4-6 at 10:00 am.
• Friday, June 23rd, 2023 for ages 7-9 at 10:00 am.
• Friday, June 30th, 2023 for ages 10-12 at 10:00 am.

NOTE: Craft days are limited to 12 children only. Please call for reservations. All children must be registered to participate in the craft days.
